I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. I
graduated from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio with
a degree in Accounting and Business Administration. I was an
honors student in both high school and college.
I became a Certified Public Accountant in 1968 and hold Arizona Certificate number 1183R from the Arizona Board of Accountancy. I am a member
of:
• American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
• The Arizona Society of CPAs
• National Society of Tax Professionals.
I have been in Public
Accounting since 1965 with International and local firms:
• 1965 - 1969 employed in the tax department of Ernst & Ernst in Kansas
City, Missouri (now Ernst & Young) .
• 1969 - 1979 employed by Laventhol & Horwath in Tucson, Arizona where
I became an audit and tax manager.
• 1980 - 1984 was a partner in the CPA firm of Richardson, Willis and
Harvey doing financial audits, tax planning and tax return preparation.
• I984 - present have owned and operated my own CPA firm in Tucson, Arizona
with an emphasis on individual tax and estate planning and tax return preparation.
I was one of the first CPAs in Tucson to add financial services to my practice.
My practice consists primarily of:
- Individual and Business income tax planning and tax return
preparation.
- Estate planning and preparation of Estate tax returns.
- Financial Planning for education and retirement, etc.
- Providing financial services for client (See disclaimer)
- Presentation of workshops and seminars in the area of income
tax and estate planning issues.
Community Service:
• Active member in Civitan International (a Service Organization with an
emphasis on helping the mentally and physically handicapped). I have held many
offices within Civitan, serving on the Club, District and International level.
• Active member in my church, having served on many committees.

• Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
I have taught Accounting and Managerial Accounting for Pima
Community College and have taught many seminars and workshops
on tax and estate planning issues.
